This Hermes micro mosaic pendant is created by a proprietary method including engraving porcelain by hand, and then each little segment is colored by hand multiple times and baked at special ovens at temperatures ranging from 1472 - 2372 degrees Fahrenheit (800 - 1300 degrees celsius) in a very long unique multifaceted and arduous process , but made with love.
Hermes is the winged herald and messenger of the Olympian gods. In addition, he is also a divine trickster, and the god of roads, flocks, commerce, and thieves.
The caduceus (seen at the left of Hermes) is the traditional symbol of Hermes and features two snakes winding around an often winged staff. It is often used as a symbol of medicine instead of the Rod of Asclepius, especially in the United States.
